Default Poll to have Anet change Unwanted Guests Quest

Hi i am starting a poll to ask anet to do something about the vengeful ataxes un teh unwanted guest quest un UW.
My reason is ToA is now full of ursan haters that join groups and ten take that quest AND escort of souls on purpose to make the group FAIL.
This is thier form of amusement. they think its funny to make someone waste 7-8k on a set of consumables, and wipe the party. unfair to the other 7 players, and sicce they havent really violated any rulles in teh user agreement, they cant get banned to sabatoging groups and its hard ot prove.

therefore i have a few suggestions for Anet to make it so that either the vengeful ataxes will die weather they are agroed or not once the keper is dead, OR make that quest not even available untill the escort of souls is complete. Its sad aht there are scrubs out there that deliberatley sabotage other peoples fun and cost them all money. the vengeful ataxes the weay the are now make the quest harder..
and making them die regardles of agro would make the quest too easy.

Another suggestion is that unwanted guests not even become available from that particular reaper.Rather have the reaper in the forgotten vale offer it so the group at least has a chance to recover despit the saboteur.

Or there can be a slight change to this specific quest that all party must take the quest by themselves to trigger the appearance of the vengful aataxe.

When the ursan hater get the quest and other party don't it will just not activate.

As ursan hater, i simply wouldn't take that quest thus preventing group from completing it and completing UW. Much more fun when groups wastes 1 hour instead of 5 minutes.

Have a nice day.

On side note, are you sure its "ursan haters" and not just plain idiots who have no clue what they are doing? Paranoia much?

Don't assume malice when plain idiocy is enough.

Griefing people is not way to make them stop doing whatever they want anyway. Who the hell would waste their time on bunch of scrubs?

The thing is, he isn't failing playing Ursan whatsoever. Someone else is failing.

I too am annoyed with people taking quests way too early, but most of the time they are just noobs, who deserve to get a beating for not listening to their team.

When people are deliberately screwing up the party, I'd suggest sending in a support ticket, with the name of the screw-up, and pictures/chatlog which prove that person deliberatley is being an ass. This only works of that person is saying something along the lines of "I screwed you up good Ursan ****'s".

Be adviced though, that person could as well be a firsttimer.

If Guild Wars would better, there would be no need for Ursan. Since it's not we have Ursan so the haters are just QQing cause their game sucks.

But yeah griefing is reportable and I think that you might be able to get a ban out of that if it happens again, but who knows.

Wow, apparently Th Fooster shouldn't have mentioned "Ursan" at all since it doesn't have anything to do with what he's saying. If he simply stated that his party wasted their expensive consumables because a saboteur took the wrong quest (yes, it was a saboteur otherwise he would have listened and only take the quest he was told to take on Team Chat/Vent), all the Ursan haters wouldn't have been such ***holes and maybe replied to what the topic is actually about.

People have been taking the quest despite instructions not to since the start of Guild Wars. The solutions now are the same as then - don't group with people you're not sure of in areas where it can be so critical.

PS: If you're sad about losing consumable costs, don't use consumables.

Its someones choice to play Ursan, if you dont like it, dont use it. But theres no sense in sabotaging innocent players games. Its just malicious and unnecassery.

As people have said, I think that form of greifing is reportable.

A person is only a saboteur if they intentionally do not listen to the team-chat and take said quests. It's a slim line between people being a noob and deliberately screwing up the party. I wouldn't want an inexperienced person getting banned because he made a mistake, and getting reported for griefing.

Therefore you need solid proof that person is indeed a saboteur, and not just some random UW-firsttimer.

You know what? He can play the game that he paid good money for however he wants and nobody, not even you smarmy elitist holes should be able to do anything about it. /signed, and just because of players like this I think that Ursan should be buffed. Just to piss them off.

Even if it's foul play, I never thought of that before. Now it appears I have a new interesting way to entertain myself.

If you want to play a game any way you like, play single-player games. Online games have a few more dynamics in them that you might not be comfortable with. One is balance. Another is abuse-prevention.

As I said before, this has always been an issue - usually from ignorance. If you're pugging, especially with something simplistic like Ursan, you should expect clueless players who don't listen to instructions. Deal with it like everyone else and don't ask for a change to hold your hand.

I would add this: Don't use consumables early on. You only really need them for two hardest quests, especially with "U".

Just make it past "griefable" things and them burn your 7k. If you suspect someone is griefer, make HIM use consumables.

Calling gestapo on them also works.

It would work if OPs fix was implemented thou, making griefing much more insidious and delayed

Not that i condone griefing. Its pointless waste of time for all parties.

An idea would be to not use consumables. People have been doing HM UW since long before Eye of the North. Why do you suddenly need them now?

Umm, I think you missed Zweisteins point by far... Re-read it with the quote he added just before the text. To me it looks like he was speculating what would happen. You might want to watch that flametrap a bit

and on topic now.
That quest has been a noob/griefer trap since people first discovered it from the Reaper. Ursan didnt change it... it just gave more noobs/grieffers access to it.

The quest is fine as it is, its an "Elite" area after all, so you should have at least minimum knowledge or reading skills to be successfull there. But it would be nice if the Aatxes did disapear with the Targets even if they are still agroed... but I can take a guess that this has something to do with the game mechanics and not out of spite/to make the quest harder.

Wow people are a$$ holes. Even the comments in thread are ignorant.

Only thing you can do is try to report before he leaves(which btw when are they going to let you report people not in same area/district) or just run with guildies.
